This poor turtle was just not having a good day when this female monk seal wanted to have some fun.

The monk seal was considered extinct in the mid-80s, except for a few in the farthest out islands of the Hawaiian archipelago, where the few left were being entangled and choked in the tons of marine debris (mainly fishnets) that ends up there. I'm just glad they're back. I'm sorry for the turtle too, but that's nature, where it's eat or be eaten (sharks eat the seals). Vivia Boe
