I created this video a few years back setting it to the track, "Ready Set Go", by Paul Oakenfold. It is a combination of video, 2D illustrations, and motion graphics - my early days using Aftereffects.

that was cool. like the idea. the 2d was not the best but u werent working with much. my brother does alot of 3d rendering and he could tell u alot about that. but i think he mentioned 3d studio max as a program he used ( proly outdated by now) but it is impressive what he could do with it.
