Jimmy Chamberlin thanked God for bringing beauty out of his chaotic life (Billy Corgan said later "we were out of our minds"), the same thing that Mary of Magdala, a cemetery-dweller in Gadara, and countless thousands of us could say after being touched by the sovereign God - Jehovah and His Son Jesus Christ. Jimmy has left Smashing Pumpkins, and I really do not know what his relationship with God is, but during this brief moment, at least, he spoke a very profound truth. Thanks to BIO channel and Chris Isaak.

  • Everyone always says things like, "I have two beautiful children."

I wish someone would be honest and say, "I have one beatiful child, and two ugly ones."

  • @mikeusat I know what you mean - there have been times when everyone else was gushing, "What a beautiful baby", and the best I could muster was "cute" or even "little". :-) But parenting requires careful choice of words to provide positive reinforcement of a child's sense of worth, as they get too much harsh criticism outside the home. BTW, an expression that amuses me is "He looks so natural", said of a body in a coffin.

  • Does it really matter who captured, edited and uploaded this video?

  • @DrSuperMarioMan6464 Yes, it does. Perhaps someday you will post a worthwhile video in HD, that can be enjoyed full-screen on a 46-inch HD monitor, and be proud enough of your accomplishment to put your name on it. Then again, maybe not - so just keep on thinking I'm stupid - it's my video and my channel, and I don't care what you think. I promise not to make fun of your obsession with Super Mario.

  • @SidsCardShop hey, don't hate on super mario ;)

  • @evangelist777 Thanks for the comments. No hate - I promise. I was just pointing out to someone that posting his game play might be as vain as my branding my video. I decided that if all he could do after watching what I made an effort to post was criticize me personally, my channel has nothing to offer him, so I blocked him from commenting. My goal is to have a stress-free channel, so I try to keep the hateful comments deleted, but with almost a hundred videos, it is difficult.

  • Not so fast. I used to think that Billy needed Jimmy, but I now think that he can do well with or without him. I've heard Mike Byrne and he isn't a bad drummer. He may not be Jimmy, but so what? The new SP material didn't sound bad either. Whether or not you write them off is up to you, but it also might be your loss on missing out on some good music.

  • @mikeusat jajajajaja, increible comentario, me hiciste reir!! y tenes mucha razón!!!

  • Losing Chamberlin was a defining molement for me. I stopped buying their albums. I'm sorry but without Chamberlin the Pumpkins sound isn't the same to me. In my opinion, they could get rid off D'Arcy. Getting rid of Iha is stretching it I liked his style and what he brought to the band. Getting rid of chamberlin, (In My Opinion) ruins it all. This drummer had a signature to their sound/style that can't be recoordinated. <-was fun to look up/ spell : f

  • @WarmothGuitarist Actually people like you are causing the downfall of Christianity. It's called unbelief, and you're choosing it, not me. I'm not forcing my beliefs on people, so go believe what you want.

  • @evangelist777

It's people like you that are causing the downfall of Christianity. Noone wants to have someone preaching at them through YouTube comments. Take that shit to church, where a fellowship gathers in order to hear the retoric spewing from your mouth.

Let people be. Noone needs a human being to tell another human being that they need Jesus Christ in their life. If people want Jesus in their life, they will find the way to allow it.

Just another modern day Jimmy Swaggart...

  • @jellitunes

Hey, if fantasy helps to get one by then "Rock On"... but just know that it is fabrication to suggest that a celestial overlord is planning the mundane minutiae of one's life. What a plan!

  • Using Jimmy Chamberlin to proselytize are we?

    I'm not hating, really.

Whatever a person needs, to become a better person.

  • When Jimmy left the Smashing Pumpkins last year, the band died once more in eyes. Don't get me wrong, I'll continue to follow the band Billy now calls SP because Billy is a helluva songwriter anyway. But without Jimmy's drumming, there's nothing left but a Billy Corgan solo project with a backing band called "Smashing Pumpkins."

  • @Herbalaussie Mike is what 19 or 20 wait until he is 25 or 30 then we will see how great really is with all of his powerful drumming. Now with Billy, Jeff, Mike, and Nichol it's a band again. I also consider Jeff, Ginger and Lisa pumpkins too.

  • @Herbalaussie Mike is what 19 or 20 and he is not buffed up like jimmy. But hes working on those muscles. Now with Billy, Jeff, Mike and Nichol.

  • where can I find the whole episode of this show? thanks
