British or American, any soldier that does that is brave beyond words... the difference is America gives you an award that's been given to so many other solider for so much less... making your action (though equally incredible to your brothers around you) not as distinguished. Although many soldiers crazy enough to do it probably care little for a medal.

Whats wrong with american forces? No offence but there trained better that any other military. Exept israily commandos. They train our army special forces.

My compliments to him and those who trained him to think of his comrades. Under fire, staring death or the chance to escape before him, he chose to potentially sacrifice his life for his team. I always said a proper soldier should always defend those who cannot fight for themselves, but also those who will risk it all to save their comrades are worthy of the praise this man got. Bravo!
