chris murphys comment at the beginning is so true. He was as good as anybody, as good as mercury, morrison or jagger. One of the best front men ever!!...........but it isn't mentioned enough for my liking!!

Despite the book by his sister & mother (actually written and named by Hutch in advance) there is no article or review of INXS comparing him to Jim Morrison before 1983 or before I did at the age of 15 when we became involved. The "models" were to cover our relationship as was Paula. Geldof & Hutch were good friends and Hutch helped to organize Australia's version of Live Aid (Geldof was a co-founder) called Oz for Africa. Paula made it clear to me that she was still married to Bob in '97.

You can see the Morrisson influence through and through, which is not surprising considering he lived for quite a while in Southern California at 16 years old five years after Jim's death when The Doors were still a major act in the music business.
