In the 1930s, the Dow (?) chemical co. patented the process of making plastics from oil.
It was American business that eradicated hemp, partly by using the Mexican slang term 'marijuana' so people wouln't know what it was really about.
Hemp was the most important crop ever. From building materials to ropes, Its an amazing plant.
