Leveling Dirt

Building a patio, Documenting it a little bit too. Too bad we dont have a full on camera crew the whole step of the way. Then we could make a whole special out of it. But instead all you get to see is me leveling this dirt for now.
Noticed a lot of views on this and I can only assume it has to do with that DiRT game. If so, I sincerely appologize for that wasted time of yours.

yes, yes I have. I used it to set the level of the bounding 8x2's that I buried in the ground around the outside edge. But I've yet to figure out how exactly a level will level 80 sq ft of dirt. I might as well use a ruler, by that logic...

you didn't level anything. sorry.. you need to excavate once you add 4-8" of base 1" of sand and 2 1/2" paver that puts your patio floating off the ground a good 6 1/2 + inches.. then where does your edging go? plus your not dong anything but breaking your back... who thought you this?

you know that rakes make leveling alot easier than draging that 50 pound gate with bricks on it.. leaf rakes work perfectly
