@14omoon It seemed to be hinting at it. Maybe the studio ran out of funds before they could finish a 26-episode deal? I mean, there seemed to be more coming; the op has, for example, those creatures that look like footsoldiers. I'm guessing they were supposed to have been introduced later on.

Disappointing for a steampunk ninja gunslinger anime set an alternate history where breast-enhancement surgery has been invented several centuries in advance. Maybe if you're a fan of the manga...

Very fun series, although it seemed to been left unfinished.

I think that what happened to this show is kinda tragic. The premise and action are both pretty good, but the bland animation really bogs down the action. The premise gets smothered as well by the weak narrative. As a result, it feels like an 80's action movie but in a bad way. If it had been better animated and the writing had been more self aware, it could have be Commando of anime. As it stands, it's the On Deadly Ground of anime.
