Notice Reding bombed out, as did Patera. Alexeev had a very sub-par day as well. Remember, this competition was just a day and a half after the Munich massacre, where most of the victims were themselves (Israeli) weightlifters. The superheavies were all still pretty rattled, and it shows. Very understandable, of course.
