We are witnessing the fall of this modern civilization when Wall Street can bankrupt the USA and no one is prosecuted, where torture is deemed acceptable, and where spin and lies are told to cover up the worst atrocities imaginable and no one is held to account and even the liars are not prosecuted to ensure that truth and honour remain as the foundations we depend upon. Less than 500 viewers so far but if we don't care it is us who will be lost.

I've heard of many other massacres and genocides which my government either stood by and watched or were arguable complicit to some degree but East Timor makes me particularly sick. It's relatively unpublished despite the fact that proportionally speaking, it was one of the worst of all time. It makes me physically sick to watch that Indonesian official deny the obvious (If you didn't kill them, then where did those people go?) and then hear the same position echoed by his American counterpart.
