Part 1: Multi-screen performance section showing all the parts I played to make this snippet. (Didn't include the drum shot.) I chose to make the backing myself in order to prevent any copyright issues.

Part 2: The main solo breakdown/ analysis and shows the notes and where I choose to play them. As with my other tutorials these are positions that I opt for. If it makes it easier for you to play in other areas then go for that. I do try to offer alternate fret positions on occasion.

Part 3: Brief slowed-down part showing the 3 harmony guitar parts.

I'm trying to get to grips with Sony Vegas Pro 9 and haven't managed to edit too well but these vids should improve in the future??

  • Could you please do a tutorial on the dead on time by queen of couse. the solos from it it would be a huge favour.

  • @jajud I do have that one in my list....watch this space....

  • Hi, nice job, i didn´t understand what mic secuence are you using, and antoher question are you using any pedal effect or it´s just clean? waht amp have you got?

Sorry for the questions but im gonna buy a red special and i wanna now some things.

    Thank You

  • @francho292006 I used an old RS guitar into Cornish TB 83 booster. This was fed into a Doxy Black amp pedal then into a Doxy enclosure. I recorded it with a straight on SM57 mic. I used Adobe Audition 1.5 to record it on my laptop. No EQ but some slight reverb was added....

  • no offence to your great job but it sounds to me like your lead guitar is out of tune :s

  • @mouloudo Well that's ok. I've had a listen and the only parts that could be slightly out are the sections I mentioned earlier? Maybe you could suggest to me what was out of tune so I can work on improving it? After all...like I sais, it's purely a tutorial, not a performance. I do appreciate your opinion though....thanks. :)
