@Bu8956 I already knew that Dawson's originally version came on ABC, it ran 9 years on the network. I'm talking about Dawson's 1994-95 version if it aired on CBS in the NYC market area. I know it was taped at CBS Television City from 1988-95.

@coolwafferman No, Dawson's version originally aired on ABC, but he did take over hosting duties when Ray left the show in 94!!!!

@mgsnv8 I don't remember "The Barbara D'Angelis Show", or who she is, but obvious it wasn't successful. I'm trying to remember if "Family Feud" with Richard Dawson aired on the CBS network, but in syndication or not, because I remember "Guiding Light" uses to air in my area at 3:00pm and then after 1995 or 1996, it moved to 10:00am and stayed there until it was canceled in 2009.

@coolwafferman Yes, I think this aired right after the barbara show was cancelled. Then they introduce the hour long feud right after with the bullseye round.

@mgsnv2 I remember "Designing Women" coming on in the 10:00 am timeslot in 1991 into 1992,"Family Feud" came on right after. I used to watch it with my mom on her days off. I can't believe I was 3, and remember it like it was yesterday. I wish "Family Feud" never left CBS.
CBS probably just aired "Family Feud" at 10 and 10:30 am for these specials.

@mgsnv2 Ouyr CBS affiliate out of Detroit never aired Family Feud and instead aired phil Donahue or some other talk show in its regular slot before The price Is Right.

They had a month of Soap stars on Feud for charity from April 29, 1991-May 24, 1991. Designing Women bowed on May 27. Feud was two separate half hours then, unlike the 6/27/92-9/10/93 CBS run of Family Feud CHallenge and the 1994-95 Dawson syndie Feud. However, those shows were produced more like two separate half hours, as some stations aired the second half hour, and no references from the host to what happened in the first half. WHen GSN ran those hour-long Feuds, they ran the full hour.
