@ShotScience some questions coach: first of all I have a hard time doing an underhand lay up with my left hand. and in games, I would instinctively just try to smash the ball off the backboard in layups, which I always miss. Can I correct that I feel like it's almost a habit now.
Also I have this coach telling me that I should stay low in my drive all the way until the take off. I am tall 6 feet and I always stand so high when playing basketball. I always tell myself to stay low but never works

@Dhananjay1ejk Our standard answer here is to "FOCUS ON YOUR FINISH" as this is the usual problem. We tend to worry too much about the defender, making the shot and other distractions. Just "FOCUS!"

I have another question. When I get my rebound I tend to drive up to the net and I know that you have to be fast before the defense gets in front of you and blocks it but sometimes it goes and and then not. any tips?

When we switch hands for our layups, is it best to change what foot you come off with on the two steps? For example, Im right handed and come off of my left foot on the finish So if i go left hand should i come off the right foot. Is this best or doesnt it matter?
