Haha I ALMOST said 40s.. but something about it distinctly reminded me of the 60s. Most likely because it makes me think about the old 60's Batman series with Adam West, which had a genre of music very similar to this.

This is in the style of Modern big band. Which takes heavily influence from bebop, is more face paced, and often includes bop soloing

Well this song resembles modern big band compositions compared to those of the 40s/50s for a reason, it is one....

It's more in the bebop style of jazz. Some great artists that have fallen under that umbrella include John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Stitt, Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis.

Big Band Jazz comes to mind. You might trying searching for that, if you have a Pandora radio app you can just create a Bebop station.

The sound was out there in the late 20s, but not very popular yet. I was in the #1 grade school stage band for the state back in 77. They played stuff like this. I was only 10 and would not have been in competition for at least another year. Then the state cut music programs. Our band teacher was a trumpet player. The audio records we have only date to the late 20s for "non Edison" approved music, so NO BLACKS! This would be what techno was in the early 90s in the1920s.
