i like this instrument....i play a traditiona germanl honner recorder, how would the finger patterns of the honner match up with this instrument???...any idea????.....mahalo and aloha, keep the music alive....forest

hi. why the octave key from my ewi 4000s respond like a normal key. the sound from up to down or reverse it.s like a beep.

All is internal synth,in here he does not use external sounds save the drums.

If you're asking how to change/switch from sound to sound, you have to hold the little screw above where your right thumb goes (the bend plate), then without touching any keys toggle the hold or octave buttons. The display should read from 00-99 indicating different sounds. As far as changing those sounds, thats a whole other story.

Must to have a midi interface. Conect your ewi midi in + midi out to midi interface and interface to your pc. Instal VIZEX program from the ewi cd. Also you can buy Akai ewi 4000s soundbank from patchman music.
