This is a piece composed by Don Grusin (on his CD 'Raven') and I first heard it performed by my friend Ben Smith at the 1992 Yamaha Electone Festival. It's a really fun piece to play, I describe it as a latin jazz funk kind of sound. It is very energetic and drives all the way to the end. I recorded this on April 23, 2008. The rhythm track was programmed by Ben's teacher and all other parts performed live on the 2 keyboards and 1 pedalboard, the Yamaha Electone EL-90. Keep in mind, this instrument was made in 1991 and to date has not had a repair. It's now 17 years old and still sounds amazing!!!
