@youngfischer The sermon itself is the proclamation of the gospel, it's what he's preaching. The altar call itself is not apart of that proclamation, it comes after the sermon is finished. The altar call is used to invite people into salvation, but it is unnecessary and is often used in a psychologically manipulating way (not saying that this is the case here). Many think that simply responding to altar calls equals salvation but that is untrue. Repentance and faith are needed for salvation.

@HDell1994 How is it different?
-
@youngfischer Absolutely.

@HDell1994 So, the alter call is different than the sermon?
-
@youngfischer Hello. I was saying that I saw God's working in what was preached, I was not referring to the alter call.
-
@HDell1994 If you see God working in it then why would not the alter call be from God? Just a thought.

i thank god for mr ravenhill because he helped me start praying ALOT more daily

I love the sermon, but the only thing that I had a problem with was the Altar Call at the end. Nothing against what was preached, I actually see God's working in it, but it's just that Altar Calls don't save people. The Gospel by itself does.

Incredible.
Never saw anyone teach like this man.
THANK YOU GOD, for directing me to these messages!

If preachers across America start preaching like this there would be persecution against the church. I believe that only both of these things can save the church in America "persecution' and "preaching like this" whichever of these starts first they both lead to eachother. Lets ask the Holy Ghost to travail through us for revival and awakening!!
I think I'm going to listen to this again and again for awhile.
