I live right across the street from where this building used to be. This building caught fire almost a year after my last apartment building in Swissvale burned.

(cont'd).... I feel hollow. It's awful, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Just thinking that my 2 year old daughter could have been in there makes me sick. I'm still sick, and I haven't slept in a week. They won't even let me inside, ever again.

(cont'd)...What kind of an adult doesn't know that you have to pull the pin on a F****** fire extinguisher?
No one died, but we were all harmed in one way or another. Garin on the 3rd floor lost thousands of his photographic works. All my art was in there, and I lost 99% of it. It wasn't just material possessions, I put a little bit of myself into everything I built in there.

Actually, Ron on the 3rd floor had to jump, because the fire was coming into his apartment front door, and also the idiot that started the fire blocked the fire escape with his flaming mattress that started the fire; he hurt his legs. Jane on the second floor was also treated for smoke inhalation and burns and released, and the moron that caused this got burned and cut his hand getting the fire extinguisher...

Sorry chronique86, i hope you can get another apartment or home. i meant that no one was physically harmed, and I'm glad that you, anyone else, and any pets were not harmed. possessions can be replaced, lives can't. Sorry you lost your home, i wish you good luck finding another.
