Mirror Image (Jelena) Ep.9

Outside, Nick was waiting for Alex with his car. He was surprised to see Mary and Shane behind her. "Woah."
Alex rolled her eyes. "I know. But they really want to go."
"No worries. We can ride on our own." Mary reassured Nick. "Take care of Alex. We'll follow your car." She said as Shane opened the car's door and they both climbed in.
Nick glared at Alex and she just looked down. "I'm sorry. It's Shane."
"Alex, it's our `best friends' time. Do you want me to teach him a lesson?"
Alex looked up. "Nah. It's his payback. It's my fight. If I don;t let him win even once, then it's not a fight. Let him be."
"Fine." Then they both climbed in the car.
Alex looked out the window while Nick was driving nervously. "So..please don't get mad at me the moment we get there." Nick said with his eyes still on the road.
"Why would I?" Alex asked as she looked at Nick and to direction of his finger was pointing. Lautner's sports center.
Alex immediately jumped from her seat. "Nick! How could you!" She got out of the car.
Nick pulled over and followed her. "I'm sorry. I can't find any place. It was the only one."
"You could have told me." She snapped.
"I..I'm really sorry." Nick looked down.
Mary and Shane followed Alex's voice. "What's going on?" Mary asked concerned.
"Apparently, my best friend brought me to hell."
Shane saw the place's name and pointed it to Mary. "Oh.."
"We're going home." Alex declared.
"No. We're not." Mary hissed.
"And why?"
"Because Nick planned this for you. I'm sure there's food prepared inside. Right, Nick?"
"Well..I--I.." Nick stuttered.
"Then it's final! We're playing." Mary exclaimed then look over at Alex. "I'm sure he's not here."
"How can you be sure?" Alex snapped.
"Trust me." She said proudly and grabbed Alex's hand. Shane and Nick were behind.
Shane turned to Nick. "Does the Lautner who own this place somewhat connected to Taylor Lautner?" He whispered.
"His family owns this place. But I think he's not here. He's probably having a chick cruise."
"He better do. Alex will sure be upset when he's not."
Nick studied Shane for a moment. "How did you know?"
"Well..Mary and Mr.Henderson explained everything so that I won't misunderstand Alex's crankiness."
"Then why are you doing this?"
"Doing what?"
"Why did you force her to bring you along?"
"It's not really a payback. I just want to have fun."
"Really? Coz--" He was cut off. Mary was waving her arms in the air and motioning them to come over. "I think we're settled."
"Apparently." Shane stared at Mary.
"Just be nice to Alex." Nick said as he walk past Shane toward Alex and Mary.
Shane followed him with a confused look.
"So..we're drawing for partners." Mary declared.
"No!" Alex whined. "I'm with Nick already."
"You can't. You're both very good. It will be bias for Shane and I." Mary explained.
"It's not our fault." Alex bluntly stated as he looked over at Shane. He glared at her.
"No. Alex, pick." Mary offered her two folded papers. "I'll choose the one that's left."
"Of course you will." Alex said as she picked a paper. As she opened it, the name written horrified her. Shane. It was Shane.

A/N: I need 15 or + comments again. If I reach 15 or + comments tomorrow,then I'll post the next episode tomorrow coz I'm finished writing it.:) Thanks.
