Here's a rendition of the classic tune from The Wizard of Oz. This arrangement was inspired by Ted Green and Leon Russell. It lays well in the key of D on the octave mandolin. I'm really a steel player - I've only played mandolin for about 4 years.

  • Mike was a tremendous guitar player when I first saw him many years ago in a local band called Wild Kingdom playing a small club in Hampton, Va. I am happy to see that he has not wasted his talent, but has gone on to master other instruments as well.
