The world is full of noise and those that are the loudest are the ones we tend to follow but what about the quiet ones?

Author Susan Cain shines a spotlight on introverts and reveals how over time our society has come to look to extroverts as leaders. Not suggesting that one is better than the other, Susan argues that the world needs an equal space between introverts and extroverts; that an innovative, creative world wouldn't be the same without the two coming together.

Speaker: Susan Cain

Artist: Molly Crabapple
Director: Jim Batt
Production Coordinator: Kim Boekbinder

Introverts don't express their thoughts as much, because they know that people aren't very interested unless you pepper discussion with fanciful embellished nonsense.

I don't know how a video about complementary personality traits became a discussion for what's what and who's the best.

Perhaps you need to do a bit more homework to give you a broader, more balanced view on the subject rather than making assertions biased by your own personality type. It doesn't appear that you have actually watched the video or listened to what was being said. Perhaps that's an extrovert weakness?

everything you wrote was fanciful embellished nonsense.

introverts are extroverts without practice. don't look for reasons to be proud about staying at your comfort zone.

I wonder how many of the world billionaires are introverts? Looking through the list, I'd say most. Anyway, one implication of the video is that it didn't have to be Steve Jobs as the extrovert - but it had to be Steve Wozniak. Jobs would have been nothing without Woz; just look at his next set of businesses.

This idea that the world loves extroverts...I'm not sure from where it came. Extroverts often come up for criticism because our faults are more glaring. Introverts on the other hand are often assumed to be wise or the strong and silent type whether that's justified or not.

Source on most people considering themselves to be introverts, please.

I don't know where you got the idea that we aren't putting our ideas out there, just because we aren't talking all the time. we're just picky about who we share with and at what time, because we know that people are not going to be interested most of the time. What you've done is some sort of DIY psychoanalysis, which anyone can do to lead to any conclusion they wish.

Actually, according to Susan Cain, a president who's a self proclaimed introvert is President Obama. I believe he holds on to his own charisma very well.

Actually, introverts observe, spend a good deal of time introspecting, and ruminate on ideas, which is a check-and-correct system.

I doubt you have much basis for your assertions. I mainly see broad generalizations.
