The members of this society are making the most noise about Portia!!!! Why? as she has embarrassed all of them seeing that a simple woman like her has risen from the ashes to occupy the highest position in Jamaica. Let us as Jamaicans work alongside Portia to make this our home a better place. Chips and forrests on our shoulders will never get us anywhere. Portia is of the people and for the people. Gordon became Prime Minister a few days ago and in one interview he used the 'CHANGE' 8 times within 3 minutes. Portia has been in office for over a year and has already fallen prey to the system of government, saying she is not changing anything. Portia should apologise to the Jamaican people for making such a despicable statement considering the condition Jamaica is in.

Portia is a champion for the poor and disadvantaged people in jamaica and it is fate and destiny that has led her to JamaicaHouse and it is there where she will stay for many years to come. Some people cannot stand the fact that this poor black woman from the wrong side of the social track is the leader of the nation but remember--her support reaches far and wide accross our country and she will prove to be one of the best that jamaica has ever produced...just wait and see...
