  • Thanks for the advice. Is it a better tyre than the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 to fit on a Mitsubishi Evo 9???

  • @bestbass42 The GS D3 isnt available in a 235/45/17 so the Asymmetric is the obvious choice. The Yokohamas that are standard on the Evos were specifically designed for that car. They are extremely sticky and most tires will be a downgrade in terms of grip. If you are looking for something that rides a little better and is somewhat mroe affordable, I would go with the Dunlop Z1 if you want to stay in the Goodyear family. Yokohama also has the new AD08, which is an exceptional tire.

  • @HiQonline Thank you

  • @05front would definitely go with the Eagle F1 Asymmetric, specially during raining seasons. It happened to me more then once to break unexpectedly so...

  • excellent test

  • Very good review, very informative, I am changing my Michelin PS2, perharps to Goodyear F1 Asymmetric's.

  • I am a proud owner of a 2005 BMW 330Ci Coupe Sprt Pkg, and trying to decide between the Eagle GT an the Eagle F1 Asymmetric, What would be your recommendations?

  • @TheMechanicalLife Cheers. The GSD3 is in that in the UK. I Have managed to find 2 brand new Yokohama A-046 tyres on ebay which ive brought.Trouble is they are not E stamped & not on sale anywhere in Europe, ive brought them anyway as i hope to find another 2 in the future. Im not too bothered about comfert, its grip in all weathers im after,im not one for trying to get the back end out when i go round bends etc,i preffer the car to be 'planted' at all times so maximum grip is esential dry & wet.
