What is this?? This is not Wolaita. This dancing and costume is ridiculous!! As usual a bizarre, derisive bastardization of southern Wolaita culture. I always wondered why they made the costumes so sexual and barely anything on the women. Then I realised: it reminds me of how the western world first viewed Africa, 'dark continent', as savage, overtly sexual and depraved. This is a pathetic, demented exoticism of a peoples and culture that deviate from the general known culture and populace.
