A very beautiful Track for a very good film. Frances was one of the best and moving films of the 80s. An acurate description of the Star System in the Golden Age of Hollywood.

i am born at 1982, my phone rings with 007 john barry's ost, i love his sound and this year we lost him.. i hope the next james bond movie be dedicated to him and the producers don't set another awful soundtrack

so lovely a theme tune breaks my heart when hearing this. Also great film , sad but inspirational. Why Jessica Lange did not win an osca for her portrayal of the brilliant actress FRANCES FARMER, I do not know. It still puzzles me!!

Awesome. Awesome actress, Jessica Lange, awesome theme by Barry. Jessica Lange is one of the most significant and best actresses in contemporary times, not just for her role as Frances. If Frances was exaggerated a bit to illustrate the horrors of psychiatric care and institutions, Jessica Lange was THE WOMAN FOR THE PART! My jaw dropped by end of the film and I soon read the books available on Frances Farmer to learn it was true. I visited Swanlund's shop in 05 to walk in F.F's footsteps.
