This is called "bearding". They usually do it when they're hot and/or crowded. I see you have an entrance reducer on there. With healthy numbers like that you really shouldn't need it, and if you remove it they'll be able to ventilate the hive better which will make them less likely to cluster on the front of the hive. If you're still concerned about robbing, cut your entrance reducer in half. If they still cluster you might add another shallow super. It's not too late to get honey.

I thought they were being robbed but I think they were tossing out the drowns. I removed the reducer tonight so I guess I'll see tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. I really do appreciate it.
