DC Libs Happy to Sign Petition Banning Conservative's Free Speech

After hearing news the other day that the Obama administration had appointed a new position to monitor and push back against negative online press we thought some liberals in DC might think it wasn't enough. So we sent Joe Schoffstall out to see just how far liberals would go to silence conservative speech. Joe went around Georgetown in DC with a petition to "Ban Conservative Hate Sites" that said this:
"The undersigned hereby adamantly demand that the United States government shut down right wing hate sites. The hate speech propagated by sites like the Drudge Report, Hot Air, Instapundit, Big Government, and others must not be allowed to corrupt our political discourse any longer. These sites are dangerous not only to truth and freedom but also to our society as a whole. BAN THEM NOW!"
That is pretty radical rhetoric that no reasonable, freedom-loving, red-blooded American could possibly agree with, right? Well, see for yourself:

"Some people abuse it" ....Christ....any further proof needed that the liberal ideology is as close to fascism as you can get in this country aside from out spoken Neo-Nazi's and Communists? No.
Free speech is FREE SPEECH. NOTHING should be silenced. Even liberal fools can shout their insanity...they just don't care for others having free speech. This is sickening.

I don't get how those people could say they are for free speech then sign. They don't understand that the 1st Amendment is to protect bad speech, good speech or non-controversial speech does not need protection it is only controversial speech that needs protecting, that is what the constitution is protecting. The second you say some speech should not be protected you nolonger can have free speech because you agree there should be limits on what is allowed and what isn't it is nolonger free.

Disgusting, but not surprising in the least. After all, this is modern politically correct liberalism's main tactic - silence the opposition by any means necessary.
