  • @ shemp852 There is no such thing as a 'slant four'

  • Is the slant six as good as the slant four..the Valiant in the movie Duel had the slant four...

  • do you have the factory spoiler for this car??? they made 14 of these with the clothesline pole on the trunklid i think YENKO did it

  • Does it have stains in the back seat,Does it have pushbutton stransmission ??

  • These American Valiants look old fasion compared to the 1973 Chrysler Valiants in Australia, in some ways they look like the late 1960's Valiants that were produced in Australia. The slant 6 was replaced in 1970 by the 6 cylinder hemi engine in Australia.

  • @TJC450 Back then these were the most reliable of the compact cars, but the least sporty. These are the only Chrysler cars that had any reliability. After the last year these were made (76) products went downhill fast. The slant-6 and the torqueflite trans are legendary.

Looks like this was owned by an older person, but got T-Boned and the insurance company totaled the car because it did not have a classic car insurance policy and a 37 year old car has minimal value.

  • Were these reliable cars back then?
