Most of the time that 'marines vs. army' spiel is just in good fun actually... But in actuality any intelligent service-man/woman will tell you that each branch is essential and has different roles. While Marines and the Army are similar, they do not fulfill the same function, thus both are essential.

Oh WOW!! ya are ass wipes talking about which branch is better .. I'm in the army and i have friends in other branches and u know what... they are a great help to us .. every branch has a different purpose and we help eachother out i dont understand where the shit talking is coming from .. grow up and get over it .. just b proud that ur even in the US Military and that if ur even are ..LOSERS!

@Seikken53 They are different, completely different. Marines are apart of the navy and there are only at an estimated guess 236,000 active duty marines and a couple million army soldiers. In conclusion Marines beat Army
