Pro Football Carolina Panthers at Minnesota Vikings (O/U 37 1/2) (1PM ET) (FOX)
The Vikings announced a change at quarterback as Gus Frerrotte replaces the ineffective Tavaris Jackson. Frerrotte is an experienced quarterback in this league with 15 years under his belt and he started 16 games for Miami in 2005. Adrian Peterson has been good in his second year rushing for over 100 yards in each of his first two games. Frerrotte will give the Vikings a threat in the vertical passing game and we may see Bernard Berrian make plays against the Panther secondary. This will of course set up big plays in the running game with Chester Taylor and Adrian Peterson. The Vikings defense is giving up chunks of yards in the passing game and Jake Delholmme welcomes speedy wide receiver Steve Smith back. Delholmme found out in the first two weeks of the season that he has pretty good targets surrounding Steve Smith. Smith commands a double team and that will open up this game and points will be scored. Play this one over 37 ½.
Selection: OVER 37 ½.
