http://www.ted.com - In Al Gore's brand-new slideshow (premiering exclusively on TED.com), he presents evidence that the pace of climate change may be even worse than scientists were recently predicting, and challenges us to act with a sense of "generational mission" -- the kind of feeling that brought forth the civil rights movement -- to set it right. Gore's stirring presentation is followed by a brief Q&A in which he is asked for his verdict on the current political candidates' climate policies and on what role he himself might play in future.

You auditioned for dumber and dummer.
Alas! you were told no professionals.
The Smithsonian has a lot to do with these bullshit stories.
They reside in the district of Columbia and are controlled by the Vatican.
You know right next to the big owl and pyramid and more in Washington.
If you can't use google maps just leave it to someone with half a brain more than you.
You know! Someone with half a brain. Maybe not! .
Thanks in advance.

"a scientist"
Ignorant clown.
Ignorant of the relevant facts and ignorant of what scientific consensus means.
Typical denialist.
Conservative voter too?

Sorry I received that information from a scientist who measures the temperature coming from the sun with satellites.
There are other reasons like rain and drought.
when it's raining and for a few days after it's cooler.
During prolonged dry spells the temperature is hotter.
If you are just going to jump on the bandwagon and say 97% of scientists.
Ideas from science that help man originally came from 1 or a very small group of scientists.
Stop guessing and research.

How can you say "It's actually cooling now" when the ten hottest years on record all occurred in the last 16?
Even if there had been "cooling" during that period that would not be seen as the long term trend, but a fluctuation on a graph full of fluctuations.
The trend since the beginning of the industrial revolution is clear right up to this day.
It's still getting warmer and nothing you can say changes that.
Continue to deny all you want, but 97% of climate scientists say you're wrong.

soon our polluting ways will lead to the destruction of the world.
go to TRUTHCONTESTxcom and read page 53 of ~THE PRESENT~

Thankyou. I now know that global warming was caused by phlogiston.
Not really the extra co2 is caused by a 40% reduction in plankton which is caused by a warmer ocean surface because the whole solar system is warmer.
It's actually cooling now though.
