  • Good job here, I would have established the IV access and just gave a .5 bolus of atropine if that didn't work I would continue to monitor my patient and then put him on transcutaneous pacing.

  • That's more like it. Best video so far.

  • Did Static and Dynamic Cardiology testing come about recently?

I worked in Cardiology, as an EKG Technician, and I'm not familiar with the terms.

They trained me to do EKGs and to apply Holter Monitors.

  • The first one is my friend's normal blood pressure 90/60. An adult male with mitral valve prolapse.

I was an EKG technician, and didn't recognize bradycardias-for which I'm grateful. It made it easier to tell the patient to ask the doctor what the EKG reading is. We weren't supposed to tell them, and we knew only v-fib, a-fib and certain tachycardias.

They always looked so disappointed when I told them they'd have to ask the doctor.

  • Because this is static cardiology not dynamic...

  • to answer the ecg monitor ? is because the patient is already on the monitor, as for the vitals they are on the bottom of the paper

  • These videos have been a great help, but why does this guy give a medication w/o getting a set of vital signs and putting the pt. on ECG monitor?
