@blaklaptop He can punch a whole through the fabric of space of time and can even alter probability itself. I think moving faster than the speed of light is no problem at all. All the spiral energy will have no trouble keeping everyone inside safe.

This means that it would have to take thousands of years to swing his arm, because if he swung it at normal speed the end of his arm would be traveling at hundreds of times light speed (which is impossible). Therefore, all the people inside him would belong dead and gone before it could even begin firing the drill.
