I have been towing banners since 1992. I have towed in Florida, New York, New Jersey and California. This is truly a great video of what a day in the life of a banner pilot is like. Congratulations; great work!

It was fun flying in MD towing the banners. It was also fun filming our flying and then putting into a video many years later. I had 8 hours of video to edit down to less than 10 minutes for youtube.

Great work, gardnerpilot! Are you guys hiring? Banner towing is very slow in New Jersey during the summer.

I haven't been there since 2003 so you will have to contact Ocean Aerial in Berlin, MD.

"The Banner Tow Movie" was the best video on banner towing in the YouTube collection. Congratulations!
I towed at the Jersey shore for 7 summers, starting about 40 years ago. The video brought back some good memories.

Cool video. I've been working for Ocean Aerial since 2005, so this was shot before my time.

Sounds like the internal baffles have been removed from the muffler. Some Ag and banner operators do this as a safety feature. If the baffling fails it could block the exhaust gases...nothing out = nothing in...then the engine quits. Not good at low altitude. It also sounds awful in the cockpit and earplugs are essential.
