I thankfully have not witnessed any kind of "Twilight Hate Crime" myself, but I did have someone look a bit fearful and ask that I not hate them for not liking "Twilight" at our DVD release party. I just laughed and said that if I hated everyone who disagreed with me on something then I'd have no friends. :)

Uhm I ignored my sister for 36 hours because she said some mean things about twilight...

I hope that doesn't fall into the catagory violence but just obsessed..

she's 2 years older then me but she's like my bestfriend so after 36 hours she was forgiven..

I did go into a twilight chatroom once and people were bashing eachother randomly..

but that's it..

Personally I've never seen anyone be rude because of Twilight comments, but I agree with blakirish31 about the message boards. Some people just go on there to be mean to others=( Well it's nice to see your update! Team Jacob!!=]

i haven't personally experienced any craziness from the twilight thing, but the message boards, or different chats are the extent. its absolutely obnoxious that some people will go out of their way to purposely offend another person because theyr views are different.

you got on the right soap box, something needed to be said.

Very true.  While the majority of fans are nice, I'm sure there are some people out there. But that's how it goes with any fandom. (That's why I called for evidence from those people haha) --Kelsey

You know, I've never seen twilight violence in a malicious manner. It happens here and there unintentionally with events that are run poorly but that happens with most hollywood events. I do feel the need to tell you that what you're hearing is coming from people who hate the books and the fandom. Maybe take it with a grain of salt you know? As far as fans go, we are CONSTANLY described as being some of the more respectful and organized fan groups out there.
