In this tutorial, I will show you how to partition your hard drive to allow 2 OSes, download the Windows 8 developer preview, burn it to a disc, and install it, so you have both Windows 7 and Windows 8 on your computer. You can't go wrong!

If you have any issues at all contact me via twitter @Jake7heSnake or in the comments section of the video. You can also PM me on Youtube, but I'd rather you didn't.

  • When I try to reduce the volume of the C:drive, It only says i can shrink it by about 700 when i have almost 40gb open. Can you help?

  • Thanks mate worked great!! :)

  • @jakejackjoe 329gb out of 500

  • @TheStewone Your hard drive is safe to format once you remove all data that you need off of it. I'm not sure if that would solve the problem or not though. To be honest I really don't know what could be going wrong. I think I said this in an earlier comment when someone was having problems, I know how to do it, but I don't really know what to do if something goes wrong.

  • @jakejackjoe It's a internal drive D were all my backups go don't have a external drive.

  • @TheStewone Hmm. Is the D drive an external USB HDD or is it internal, or another kind of drive?
