That was a great concert, the only problem was that it started over an hour past scheduled time. We were all just sitting there waiting.

I think two things might have happened ... first is that the ticket starting time often seems to assume an opening band slot (for the Police for example the ticket said 8:00pm but they really got onstage a little after 9:00pm). In this case there wasn't an opening band so we just kinda sat there. A second issue is that there was a giant bottle neck traffic issue and they probably wanted to give everyone a chance to get there. Worth the wait in my opinion :)

that song was 'Mama' from the 1983 self-titled album ... probably my favorite Phil as lead singer era song. :)

I was at this show too. Great concert, and the crowd was the most mellow I've ever seen at a concert. I'll agree, everyone waited a LONG time for them to come out, but once they did. they played right through to the end without taking a break. Great show.

no, it's because they sold out. They stopped making good music and decided to make what the musically retarded crowd would enjoy. And good for them, it worked, but they still suck for making that change.

If u was a fan of just the gabriel days then why did u even bother going to see the band. there was great with gabriel but even better with collins thats why there have sold millions of albums since gabriel left

yea, i was tailgating from about 4:30 on. I went in when the doors opened around 7, and sat for 2 hours! Me and my friend are fans of the gabriel days, and so were the people around us, and at one point when somebody said "come on, start the show already" we all jokingly decided to blame phil, since he deserves the blame for all the other bad things about Genesis
