  • 2 cars were 'donated' by AMC for BF Goodrich sponsorship using Amos Johnson Racing called Team Highball (he owned a bar). The #1 car was put into storage back in the states and presently in minnesota ( i got pictures last fall), the #2 car was constantly raced, hit and repaired, presently owned by a person from Maryland, sold by a member of the NorthCoast AMC club. I got to see each car in 2009. I bought a 79 AMX and cloned into a Nurburgring car and race (for fun at Nelson Ledges !)

  • It was a 1979 AMC Spirit AMX only built from 1979-1980 on the 1979-83 AMC Spirit platform. but 79 being the only year with a factory 304 V8 option. 1979 was AMC's last gasp with V8 muscle cars. the 80 AMX was a joke. But in 79 AMC decided it would be the last year for V8 powered passenger cars. R.I.P American Motors Corperation 1954-1987

  • awsome movie !!! :D 5/5

  • The car was built by AMC.. American Motor Company which existed from 1954-1987.

  • Who set this car up? What is the history?

  • Thanks for posting this!
