You must be thinking of Donkey Kong Land, which was a semi-sequel of sorts to Donkey Kong Country for the SNES.

Hey Chicken, speaking of bad guys. What do you think about Tiki Tak Tribe? Did Retro Studios make their villains better, the same or so-so compare to Rare's villain, King K. Rool and his Kremlings?
