Great video Showing the approach from the east at sunset the second runway
(23L) is visable half way along the runway being landed on (23R)
I have only ever flown out of MCR April 2005 returning to Birmingham Intl also Jan 2009 I have never landed there but hopefully in 2011 I will get the chance on my return to the UK the approach takes in views of the A34 and the M60 Gatley, Cheadle and Woodhouse Park the area my Father grew up!

u know manchester airport is meant to be the 2nd biggest after Heathrow coz its got 2 runways

I'm sure he knew about the hump, and was aiming for it! Franky, pilots rarely stay dead on the c/l, and if you drift off a bit it really doesn't matter!
