You might be right....
I always prewash, so i get all dust and dirt loosened up before the wash.

Can you sometime do a wash with the delicate wash program at 60?
i would like to see the amount of water

A prewash does not need to be heated i think because i see the prewash as a thing that id for loosening dust and some dirt before the wash begins for real.
Actually some dirts is best cleaned out with cold water i think?
I don't know if i am right in all this...

I love heated prewashes. If the prewash water is heated, the enzymes from the detergent get "active" and the dirt removing process is better.

Hihihihi :) Sudslock, I love 'em ;)
I don't know how long the pre wash takes, but I thought it was about 30 minutes.. It's a proper prewash, even at 30-35°C! That's why I call the Miele's prewash a "prewash" and the AEG's prewashes "pre rinses" *lol*
