To Bethesda - On Skyrim's 1.2 Patch (PS3 Frame Rate Lag Follow Up)

The 1.2 patch helps at first, but after a while, it goes right back to a lag fest in many areas. I can imagine it may possibly prevent frame rate issues in brand new saved games, but after a few weeks of solid play (or at least trying to play), it's really not a great option at this point.

I have also tried the save on my brother's PS3, and the problem still persists.

I suspect the real moral here is never buy anything from Sony again.

I recommended Sony products to my friends in the '80s and '90s but they went crazy after that.

Look up "10 mistakes by Sony," a fascinating article about how Sony apparently lost it's mind sometime after about 1999 or 2000 or so, you would never believe somebody just telling you in some YouTube comment, they really are completely insane.

And the Sony network will never stop being attacked. Ever.

That may be true, but this has been proven to be a fault of Bethesda not optimizing the game. Through hacks, the PS3 version runs flawlessly. Thanks for the info, though! That's some interesting stuff.

Only had this problem on computer my xbox 360 version is just peachy :) you know what that means? Get a better computer lol. obviously skyrim is to beastly for your computer :D but even with the choppiness I'll play it on my poopy computer just because of mods :D

actually I've played it on xbox and pc and it's not buggy or anything near as bad as ps3

If it ran like shit on the 360 and PC too, then yeah, they'd need a new engine. But it only runs like shit on the PS3. So it's the system at fault.

My apologies, I gave you the wrong title of the article, it was not "10 mistakes by Sony,"

the correct title is "10 Things Sony Screwed Up."

I found this out when I decided to check for myself that the article was still at techcult.com.

Possibly the stupidest thing was inventing a USB that WOULD NOT FIT ANY OTHER BRAND OF USB. Total slap in the face of the customer, completely insane.
