Great video of a great day out! My 2nd rail excursion and I thoroughly enjoyed it. (my 1st being a trip from the old Masbrough station in Rotherham to Edinburgh in the 60's).

pook another fantastic 22 video, hats off to ya, total powerhouse on wheels 22 is, bit worrying about a fire im sure this is the 2nd time this has happened the last being in a station and fire brigade were called, no lasting damage i hope, m8 can i ask are you getting e mails from y tube ok, iv had none for about 2 weeks now suddenly stopped and theres been hundreds of new uploads from people i subscribe to , but no notification e mails, & iv changed no settings?? cheers pook superb vid as usual

@wattass7 Thanks for your praise. What a day it was, a fantastic performance from RSG over a very taxing route. No major damage thankfully, she had a storming run back. I haven't noticed any changes with the emails here on youtube.

side as we climbed the Lickey is pretty dam good also. fantastic Napier howl comes through brilliantly when you turn the speakers up.

Did the exhaust not catch fire somewhere? Tiverton?

@samgreen47 It did, but there was only minor damage to the lagging. The last 30 or so miles were behinfd the 47. A storming run back on both engines, she never missed a beat.
