This story is about an old woman who is constantly waiting for her children and grandchildren. Her big house is cold and empty without their voices. They will only gather on the day of her funeral. It is not the death of an old woman, it is the moment when keeper of a large family lefts. "Umay" is the name of female god in Kazakh tradition, the goddess of the home hearth.

Короткометражный художественный фильм о старой женщине, живущей в постоянном ожидании своих детей и внуков, потому что ее большой дом без детских голосов холоден и пуст. Дом наполнится детьми, но только в день ее похорон. Умирает не просто старая женщина, умирает первооснова рода, потому что «Умай» у казахов -- это женское божество, хранительница очага.
