  • Superb tie, How would you fish the stimulator on the lochs/loughs

  • Hi TheBoobyBasher,

I'm glad you liked the fly...I tyed this fly for a friend that liked nothing better than fishing on the roughest day in the middle of an Irish or Scottish loch pulling this fly through the rolling waves on a cast with one or two other flies and I would say this one would suit the top dropper, hoping and waiting for a large trout to grab a hold of it...

    All the best Davie

  • Sir Davie of the fly tying world,My hero grins i want to know if your fly tying space is as (tidy up) as your fly tying , many thanks the best to you from the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina USA

  • Hi Sir walkoabout from the Smokey Mountains,

Most times my desk is tidy but when I'm messing around with materials then it's as messy as many a kids room..

    All the best Davie

  • Hi Davie,

Those Irish fish sure do like fancy flies. I am learning to like the Irish Style, very artistic! Another great fly, I will try this one out some time this summer. Thanks for the education.

    Best wishes.
