one of my rats started sitting on my shoulder the day i got her. my other rat doesnt though... she more perfers to be in mmy bra -.-

I got rats today, one is 5 weeks and the other is 6 weeks. Is it too early to be picking them up and attempting to teach them things since they're still babies? Or is it better to get them trained young?

@ratmainiac Rats bite less than mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, and gerbils are liable to do.

@ratmainiac i've heard that they rarely ever bite. can't say for sure since i don't have one, but i am doing extensive research because i AM planning on getting rats soon :)

@sageme13 i had just regular fancy rats.... atm i have 2 dumbos these videos are a few years old these rats have all passed away unfortunately :(

OH and another thing.
ok so ive got 2 girl rats, and they will not stay still on me for anything! so have you got any ideas how i can keep them there and i really want them to sleep on me but there soo hypa they never do.

they wont sleep on ya :P not until they are much much older and i mean old unless you raised them from birth (bottle fed) then they would sleep on ya cause they would think of you as mommy ^^ some poeple have had the good fortune to recieve an extremely layed back rat but that is pretteh rare :P when they are on your shoulder just keep movin dont give them an opportunity to climb down. they will eventually learn to stay even mine never stay perfectly still they like to roam around up there

hey again,
can you make a video of all the different things you give your rats for entertainment, or make them, and how you play with them. Im kinda running outta ideas, the internet just says the same things i do. thanx

um im not sure when i would be able to atm i have an emaciated rabbit i rescued a couple weeks ago that keeps me busy and just the other day my husband found an abandoned 2 week old kitten which i am now bottle feeding every 3 hours so im a lil busy i'll see what i can do i will at least send you a note but i will try to do a vid
