Aetherius Society (New Religious Movement)

The Aetherius Society is an organization founded by Dr. George King in London in 1955 as the result of what King claimed were contacts with advanced extraterrestrial intelligences. Its guiding principle is service to humanity, through the manipulation of subtle energies, through prayer, healing and other, technology-based, means. Its teachings combine the spiritual teachings of yoga, with others received through the yogic mediumship of Dr. King in the channeling of advanced extraterrestrial beings. It has been characterised by some observers as a type of "UFO religion".
I was unable to find any requirements to join, and there are few news articles. Anyone that has info, I would gladly accept. Thank you :)

Dr King is great, i did a whole tribute album dedicated to him, all electronica/trance/experimenta­l stuff, samples taken from his lectures. i'd love u to hear some if you want sumtime.

I have been visiting my local Aertherius society for spiritual healing. I can say from my experience of this group that there is a genuine committment to human service. The healing is free, you just leave a contribution, A kinder and more genuine group of people I have rarely met.

I never met Dr George King the President and Founder of the Aetherius Society in person, but I have been following the teachings of the Aetherius Society for the past 15 years. The Society offers an incredible teaching of the advanced nature that provide a way of helping humanity in these days of "great pain and suffering",check out the teachings, read the Nine Freedoms a book published by the Aetherius Society and experience the true oneness with creation!

I feel the commentator here did a very nice job of presenting the Aetherius Society in a factual and unbiased manner. However those with the interest must continue to look into these concepts themselves and not take for face value what anyone has to say about them. Only then, after enough effort has been expended, will these wonderful concepts begin to gel and make sense. We are quick to accept the 2012 prophecy but remain inactive to find a solution to it. Why is that?

Instead of hearing some Member's rant and rave about The Aetherius Society, or someone else's narrow minded and veiled opinion about this organization, if anyone is sincerely interested and feels an inner calling to learn more about The Aetherius Society, then I recommend you do just that. Inquire into it. Investigate it. Research it. Read. Participate in one of their Services if you can. And let your heart decide...
