i really think that is the dumbest serve i have ever seen . its not that hard to return , hell my slice serve has more angle and speed than that , i dont care what anybody says i think this is another moronic video thats been mislabeled to gain " internet fame"

This is a foot fault for the following reason.

from the ITF rules of tennis 2009:

Immediately before starting the service motion, the server shall stand AT REST with both feet behind (i.e. further from the net than) the baseline.....

During the service motion, the server shall not:

a. Change position by walking or running, although slight movements of the feet

are permitted......

Stand wide on the return and block it down the line and watch the server return to the conventional toss, stance, and grip. It was entertaining though!

so much for making this vid famous, just under 4.500 views... 6likes and 14 dislikes, its just not practical nor legal, there are several illigal serve that can be done that are impressive, the most interesting serve and it is acutally legal, is Brian Battistone's volley-ball inspired serve, very effective also1

How is this serve revolutionary? It's just an exploitation of the foot fault rules that will prompt ATP to revise the rules the moment anyone actually uses this, which is never.

P.S. I also have abnormally explosive muscles which is a curse for my forehand causing restringing every other day but tennis is about more than strength like in your forehand video u have to focus more on understanding why certain shots need to be hit at certain times to cause the overall result. yeah u might win backhand vs. lefty forehand rallys but if there stupid enough to get jammed in one of those then they deserve to lose. you need grace, skill and understanding to succeed.

you do realize that even if this was allowed it hinders no one but the server. A serves biggest weapon isn't the angle itself but the ability to mask out wide and down the middle serves to catch the returner off guard with this all the returner has to do is position himself to hit the out wide shot every time since down the middle is out of the question.
