    Even if she won't be able to break Hepburn's record I don't think its outside of the realm of possibility to tie with it. I'm sure Meryl will win two more Oscars in the Lead Actress category.

    Even with a third win in the leading acting category Mery Streep will not break Katharine Hepburns' record because she actually won four in the leading category and none in the supporting one.
