  • I'm 25 and have only just gotten into Bluegrass. I've never played any instruments, except a little daliance with Ukeleles, is it worth me starting to play now? I have such an urge to play the banjo. You're advice would be much appreciated. Out of interest, when did you begin playing?

  • @holyhackjackson8 -- You're never too old to start playing, especially if you're just 25! I started playing when I was about 20 and now I've been playing for 40 years. Get an instrument and start playing!

  • I am 59 years old and just picked up the banjo. I found this video to be the BEST "instructional" video that I have seen so far! Thank you so much for helping all of us wannabe banjo players get started...even an "old timer" like me!

Oh...one question: Is it ok to practice this "pinch" without finger/thumb picks? I have yet to get them...

  • @ezfolk777 Thanks a lot! I'm going to start saving for a banjo right now!

  • Thank you. I'm gonna check out your other banjo videos.

  • terrific and the pictures are so clear that you can see each string.

  • thank you
